Store Profile: Tonight - Bondi, Australia
Today we headed down to beautiful Bondi to meet up with our boy Stephen “Christo” Christopherson and check out his new store Tonight. We wandered down Curlewis street, one of the fairly long side strips in Bondi, with no idea of what the specific address was but instantly knew we found the store with its fresh exterior and the staple ‘bike standing outside a streetwear store’ look.
Tonight is a collaboration between brands A.T.G. and Illionaire with the space serving as a flagship for the two fresh Australian labels and also generously features many other crazy cool brands from all over the world.
A.T.G as you may know is the uber cool streetwear label known for their mean floral motif. You know we have got mad love for A.T.G. as you may remember them from our first brand profile piece.
Illionaire is also a modern, fashion forward brand which in contrast to A.T.G. is more fashion label rather than streetwear.
The store, like the two brands, caters for both men and women, however the two brands have somewhat chosen their side of the store - A.T.G features mostly in the men’s section whilst Illionaire fills the ladies’ section.
Apart from owning and designing their own two brands the guys over at Tonight are also the Australian distributors for Sixpack (France) and REBEL8 (from San Fran). Therefore, the Tonight store carry a wider range than any other store in Australia for these two powerhouse streetwear brands aswell as having some killer bargains on sample stock.
Tonight also stock brands such as The Hundreds (LA) and Kuro Denim (Japan) aswell as a bunch of brands form local designers such as State of Georgia, Story by Tang, Stray and Grass, No Tomorrow (Jewelry) and more to come.
Tonight is a one-stop shop for sunglasses. Apart from stocking one of my faves - SUPER sunglasses - and the new range of sunglasses from Australian designer Graz, Tonight also carry a huge range of vintage sunglasses including Christian Dior, Carrera, Versace, Louis Vuitton and many more.
I already feel like I have an aneurism from listing the crazy amount of dope gear the guys are carrying, but I have to mention that Tonight have only been open 2 weeks and will continue to source new, fresh brands from all over the world. So get ready ya’ll coz Tonight is going to take over the world today….WOW time to stop writing and start having babies coz I am the king of dad jokes.
